Trøndelag - Central Norway

A journey over the Dovrefjell was a challengein times gone by. The route from southern to northem Norway across the mountains, undertaken by kings and pilgrims of old, was arduous. Travellers would breathe a sigh of relief after negotiating the notorious Vårstigen (Spring Path) and arriving safely on the Trøndelag side of the fells. Todays roads and railway lines make this an easy trip.
