Sjusjoen Ski Centre- There are more than 350 km of prepared tracks in the Sjusjoen area, of which about 100 km are prepared for ski skating.

Sjusjoen Ski Centre is situated 20 km northeast of Lillehammer. The six seated express- lift takes you up to a fantastic view, and to slopes with many possibilities and of great variation.
The first piste is perfect for beginners and children. It is a 300m piste, and it is free. On the mountain a plate lift will take you all the way to the top. From here you will find the longest piste that is 2,2 km. The elevation difference top/bottom is 250 m.
The offpiste-area is also preferred by many. Sjusjoen ski centre have a large ski rental, and have for the season 08/09 added more equipment of good quality. Helmets are free for everyone. In the ski rental you also book the ski school. This is suitable for beginners and experienced skiers, and we choose an instructor that suits your needs.
They offer lessons for alpine, snowboard and telemark.
Sjusjoen is widely known for its cross-country possibilities. The track is easy to get to from the ski centre. The cross-country arena is close by the bottom lift. Here you also find a 5 km long roller-ski track, and this will get snow as soon as it is possible. The area also possesses a ski shooting arena that has become very popular. Sjusjoen Cafe has a wide range of food and drinks. Here you can enjoy delicious homemade food. The Ski Pub is also a good place to go for a drink or two.
A 6-seater express chairlift whisks you to the top, 960 meters above sea level, in 3 minutes. The mountain offers a safe and quiet environment where it is easy to stay in touch during the day. The kids are free to use the beginner's lift and the play area without any costs. Ski rental, cafe, restaurant, after ski and ski school during the peak season are additional facilities making it a full service resort. A great winter destination for those who want to combine cross country and alpine skiing.
