Southern Norway

Western Norway -
This is Fjord Country!
If there is an area which the visitor must see this is it. It truly is Norway in a Nutshell from its rocky coastline, the second city of Bergen and magnificent waterfalls, to the wild snowy plateau of Hardangervidda. And of course the fjords. Prepare to have your breath taken away with spectacles suh as Geirangerfjord and Hardangerfjord and many others.

Central Norway
North and South Trøndelag are Norway's two central counties with the city of Trondheim at their heart. The countryside here is fertile and an important area for agriculture.

North Norway
The land of the midnight sun north of the Artic Circle is a delight to discover. It is so rich natural beauty and culture. Finmark wraps itself around the tip of Sweden and Finland to touch the Russian border and here you can sample true arctic life. Here the sun will disappear in November and not return before January but despite this life is lived to the full and you can wonder at the Northern Lights as their colorful show plays across the skies for hours.

Svalbard
For the adventuruer, this arctic archipeligo is a group of islands north east of the Norwegian mainland including Spitsbergen, Nordaustlandet and Barentsøya. 60% of the land is covered by galcier.
