This new development, nestling in an enviable position on the mountainside at Norefjell, 1.5 hours from Oslo, offers luxurious and private accommodation furnished to an exceptional standard. In summer the area is great for hiking and activity holidays with bike hire and other activities available on site.
In winter guests have direct access to the ski slopes via the resort's private lift, and after a day enjoying the renowned skiing at Norefjell can return to relax in the Scandinavian spa. For those who want to learn to ski there is excellent tuition and a purpose built learner slope and lift, and for those who don't want to ski at all there is a skating rink, climbing wall, and children's centre with games and entertainment.
We have a variety of self catering accommodation, fully equipped with luxury fittings and all the creature comforts you need, and when you don't want to cook for yourself you can enjoy a meal in the hotel restaurant, or get takeaway from the pizza restaurant. Meals can also be taken outside on the terrace even in winter when you are kept warm by heaters and flaming torches.
You will have access to the rooftop spa - a superb place to unwind in style with fine views across the mountains. Besides the indoor pools there are outdoor hot tubs, plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms and a variety of spa treatments are available.
There is also a family spa suitable for all ages which has a large pool, hot tubs and fitness suite.
Designed to be sympathetic to its natural surroundings, the building uses sustainably sourced natural materials and great attention to detail has been paid when selecting interior furnishings which reflect the Norse/Scandinavian culture. The whole resort is heated and powered using renewable biofuel energy sources, the majority of which are sourced within ten miles of Norefjell.
