Constructed in 2008 in a traditional Norwegian log-built style, the lodge offers luxurious accommodation for up to 18 guests in eight en-suite twin and double rooms. The impressive living area has an open fire and fine views, large dining table and separate library/TV room.
Outside there is an outdoor hot tub with amazing views across the fjord - the perfect place to relax in the evening and watch the sun set, or in winter to watch the northern lights.
The lodge is available on a full board basis, serving excellent food with an emphasis on quality local produce. The attentive staff will look after you well from the moment you arrive when they greet you with locally made woollen boots to wear indoors, but leave you in peace to enjoy the lodge as your own.
You can take expeditions from the lodge, including snow-shoeing, dog sledding, snowmobiling and sea safaris by boat.
