This cosy hotel has 9 maritime suites of high quality, measuring 45-60 m2 each (4 beds, living room/dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and outside area). The hotel is situated in a restored old neighbourhood with a charming and romantic atmosphere.
The suites are furnished with old and antique furniture, and each one has its own individuality inspired by the maritime collection it contains. These unique suites have come about because a collector started a hotel.
In addition to a high quality stay in this hotel, we wish to give our guests some maritime history. "Just to stay in the suite" is an experience in itself.
Old Risør with its history as a large shipping town provides the genuine setting.
The suites are decorated in a newly restored protected house from the 1750s. In Risør most houses are worthy of preservation, but only three including this one are actually protected by law.
Short, scenic walk along the shoreline and Risør's harbor to the town square, approximately 800 meters. Car and boat parking.
The hotel suites are situated in the centre of the town, integrated in a neighbourhood of old wooden houses that are vital and worthy of preservation. There are shops, cafés and restaurants only a few steps away.
