Years of organising holidays for people have given us a good understanding of what makes a great summer holiday in Norway. | Summer Holidays in Norway |
|
Although it is not often thought of as a place for summer holidays, Norway has far more than you can possibly imagine. Quiet seaside beaches, temperatures well into the 20's, and as much sun as you can soak up.
Then there is the quality of the air. The smell of the forest, wildlife in abundance; magnificent nature and picturesque towns. The glorious thing about Norway is you are so near to such a wide range of scenery.
Summer in Norway is a season of enchantment, a time to move through hours of almost endless light, to sit in a garden or on a sea rock, reading or watching a lone fisherman calmly cast his line into the still waters of a fjord. The deepest part of evening is more twilight than night, with ghostly wisps of clouds suspended between the mountains and meadows.
