Ski-in Ski-out
Ski equipment can be hired on site, and from there you have direct access to all Geilo's ski runs, including the superb open slopes of Havsdalen on your doorstep. The village is designed to be car-free with parking cleverly hidden underground, leaving the surface free of traffic and safe to ski from the front door to the first lift.
There is an English speaking ski school next door.
Summer
In summer the area is transformed into a landscape of green forests, waterfalls, lakes and some stunning wilderness on the Hardangervidda. There is a golf course nearby, white water rafting and marked hiking trails.
Geilo is also on the Oslo-Bergen railway, recognised as one of the world's most spectacular journeys, and the major fjords of the west coast are within reach for day trips by road or rail.
