Accommodation
Langeby is an excellent holiday centre run by an English family, close to the town of Sandefjord on the picturesque Vesteroya peninsula. Ideally situated for those flying into Oslo Torp (Sandefjord) airport, Langeby has a campsite and some brand new apartments with fine sea views.
There is plenty to do and see at Langeby, there are boats, canoes, and a long sandy beach, the region enjoys lots of sun in the summer months and the west facing location of Langeby means you see some beautiful sunsets here. The site is popular with Norwegian families and it is a great opportunity for kids to meet other children, especially during June, July and August.
It is also within easy reach of Sandefjord town with shops, bars and excellent restaurants, you can also take a daytrip to Sweden from here on the ferry.
For those who don't want to hire a car, the owner can arrange transport from the airport which is a short drive away.
